AA 'began' on June 10,
1935, the first day of
sobriety for one of the
fellowship's founders, Dr.
Robert Smith of Akron,
Ohio.

He was aided by another
founder, Bill Wilson, from
NYC.

Together, these two men
have helped millions of
alcoholics worldwide.
